The Yard

Urban retail and mixed-use development

A connected urban place where shopping, dining and public life meet. The Yard concept explores how an architectural ribbon can link buildings, landscape and gathering spaces into one memorable precinct.

A ribbon through
urban life.

Brick shopfronts and exposed steel establish an industrial character. A contrasting white ribbon brings movement and continuity to the concept, framing pedestrian routes and connecting the spaces between buildings.

Retail lanes, a covered market, dining courtyards and upper terraces form a sequence of places to explore, pause and gather. Landscape and seating bring a human scale to the precinct.

The gallery presents concept visualisations and design studies, from street-level experiences to aerial explorations of the wider urban setting.
